The French fashion house Givenchy was founded by Hubert de Givenchy back in 1953. Unforgettable are his designs for his muse Audrey Hepburn, whom he outfitted with individually designed creations for over 40 years in various films and also privately. Clear, no-nonsense designs became his trademark. After Clare Waight Keller, Matthew Williams has been responsible as creative director for Givenchy since 2020. In his debut collection, he demonstrated his greatest strength: the skilful symbiosis of luxury and streetwear elements.
