The Canadian twin brothers Dean and Dan Caten ventured the big leap to Europe in the early 90s. A suitable name for the label was found by the twins simply using their common first letter. Dean and Dan became "D²", meaning Dsquared.
In 2003, the popular fashion for men was finally joined by a collection for women. The Caten twins succeeded in creating a style that is always fancy and sexy, but also wearable and suitable for everyday use.
